The MICROTURN-LTBS Ultra-Precision Turn-Mill-Center is the combination of a submicron precision turning center and a full 5-axis machining center. Our unique design produces the highest level of production and precision in one machine. The two powerful and identical 29.5hp opposing spindles move in the X and Z axis for unheard of repeatability and sub-micron precision.
Between the two spindles are up to three toolholding devices including:
- Gang-type fixed table to mount fixed precision turning tools for sub-micron accuracy.
- An accurate and robust 12 station turret with milling and Y-axis capabilities.
- A 12,000 rpm B-Axis milling spindle also with Y-axis for full 5 axis milling applications. Available with up to 72 tools utilizing the overhead tool changer.
All linear and rotative axis are equipped with linear scales.
There is no machine on the market of similar precision and complexity within a small 10' x 10' x 10' footprint.
